Do players need an account?
No. Only the organizer has an account. Players open the game's share link, pick their name from the list and say whether they are coming.
How are the teams drawn?
The organizer sorts players into pots and the draw is made on the server in one go. Team sizes differ by at most one and the draw opens in front of everyone; player levels never appear on the link, the image or the video.
Who plays when places run out?
Places go in attendance-point order; points reward keeping your word and are never wiped. On a tie, whoever answered the poll first wins. There is no draw or luck involved.
Does it cost anything?
No, it is free. The organizer only needs a Tahmen account.
